Start Everywhere does not display certain file types (for example .sys and .dll files).
For security reasons, Start Everywhere displays only files and folders with the following file attributes: Archive, Normal, ReadOnly, Directory. If additional attributes are present (for example System or Hidden), the item is not displayed by default.
For security reasons, Start Everywhere requests confirmation before launching executable files, except for .lnk files. This behavior can be modified in the Settings Panel.
Lists of excluded file types and file types requiring confirmation are provided below. Suggestions for extending these lists are welcome.
